New Kitchen Process

Thank-you for choosing All Kitchens to manufacture and install your new kitchen.

Below we have listed the process to getting your new kitchen.

Pre Installation & Check Measure

  1. We will send out a copy of the completed QBCC contract for you to read, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. Once you have read this call our office and we will arrange a time to sign off the contract.
  2. You will then be required to pay a deposit (10% for kitchens under $ 20000.00 or 5% for kitchens over $ 20000.00)

  3. We ask that you arrange a time to come into our showroom and select colours, handles, bench top edge profile etc. We will then provide you with more detailed information on our standard sizes for bench tops, cabinet heights, drawer sizes, pantry shelving and pantry Inserta drawers, we can show you the standard sizes etc and answer any questions you have about these.
  4. We will then arrange a time for the check measure and at this time you can confirm any changes to the sizes, shelves etc that you may like.
  5. You will need to know what appliances you are wanting for your new kitchen prior to the check measure. We are able to supply appliances, sinks and mixers, but are happy for you to supply your own, we maybe able to save you some money on appliances, so once you have selected the brand and model numbers you are interested in let us know and we will see what we can do for you on them. All appliances, sinks and mixers will be required before your installation date, built in or integrated rangehoods are required to be delivered to our factory 1-2 weeks before your installation date.
  6. Your starting date will be booked and confirmed. We will then send you a schedule for any trades that will be required. If you are doing your own trades you will need to ensure that they are onsite to perform the required work.

Installation

Installation time will depend on the options that you have for your kitchen.

Below are a few scenarios that might suit the kitchen options you are having, whether we provide the trade services or you provide your own.

Kitchen with Laminate Tops & Tiled Splashback

Day 1 – Remove existing Kitchen, prepare plumbing & electrical for new kitchen. This may also include removal of walls etc if required depending on your new kitchen design.

Day 2 – Install kitchen cabinets & laminate bench tops.

Day 3 – Complete installation of kitchen cabinets and bench tops. Plumbing and electrical fitted of so your new kitchen is now ready to use.

Day 4 – Plasterer to plaster cornice and any small repair work that maybe required depending on your design and quote.

Day 5 – Tiler to tile splashback. If no plaster work was required the tiler would be scheduled for Day 4.

Kitchen with Laminate Tops & Glass Splashback

Day 1 – Remove existing Kitchen, prepare plumbing & electrical for new kitchen. This may also include removal of walls etc if required depending on your new kitchen design.

Day 2 – Install kitchen cabinets & laminate bench tops.

Day 3 – Complete installation of kitchen cabinets and bench tops. Plumbing and electrical fitted of so your new kitchen is now ready to use.

Day 4 – Plasterer to plaster cornice and any small repair work that maybe required depending on your design and quote.

Day 5 – The template for the Glass splashback is done, and ready to install in 5 working days. If you select a Mirrorkote finish for your splashback the delay is 10-15 working days from template.

Kitchen with Stone Tops & Glass Splashback

Day 1 – Remove existing Kitchen, prepare plumbing & electrical for new kitchen. This may also include removal of walls etc if required depending on your new kitchen design.

Day 2 – Install kitchen cabinets

Day 3 – Complete installation of kitchen cabinets and template for stone bench tops. When Stone Bench Tops are chosen a template is required to ensure a perfect fit for your stone bench tops, the stone is then fabricated and usually ready for installation in 5 working days. The electrical and plumbing are fitted off the day after the stone installation is complete.

Day 4 – Plasterer to plaster cornice and any small repair work that maybe required depending on your design and quote.

Day 5 – The template for the Glass splashback is done, and ready to install in 5 working days(Painted in metallic or non-metallic paint). If you have select a Mirrorkote finish for your splashback the delay is 10-15 working days from template.
