What’s involved in installing your new kitchen. – GUIDE ONLY

Typically there are 4 options for your kitchen and depending on your choice of bench top and splashback.  The choice of top and splashback determine the installation time frame and process for your new kitchen.

Below are the 4 typical options.

Option 1
For Kitchen with Laminate Bench Tops and Tiled Splashback

Day 1

  • Remove and Dispose of existing Kitchen
  • Repair any wall damage from splashback removal
  • Prepare new plumbing for Sink Mixer, Waste, Dishwasher, Water filters and Water to Fridge.
  • Pre-wire for Oven, Cook Top, Rangehood, power points (Microwave, Toaster, Kettle etc).

Day 2

  • Install new Kitchen Cabinets and Laminate Bench Tops

Day 3

  • Plumber to connect Sink Mixer, Waste, Dishwasher, Water filters and Water to Fridge.
  • Electrician to connect Oven, Cook Top, Rangehood.

Day 4

  • Tiler to tile splashback

Day 5

  • Plaster to fit cornice if required.

Option 2
For Kitchen with Laminate Bench Tops and Glass Splashback

Day 1

  • Remove and Dispose of existing Kitchen
  • Repair any wall damage from splashback removal
  • Prepare new plumbing for Sink Mixer, Waste, Dishwasher, Water filters and Water to Fridge.
  • Pre-wire for Oven, Cook Top, Rangehood, power points (Microwave, Toaster, Kettle etc).

Day 2

  • Install new Kitchen Cabinets and Laminate Kitchen Bench Tops

Day 4

  • Plumber to connect Sink Mixer, Waste, Dishwasher, Water filters and Water to Fridge.
  • Electrician to connect Oven, Cook Top, Rangehood.
  • Template for Glass Splashback

Day 5

  • Plaster to fit cornice if required.

Day 6

  • Fit Glass Splashback

Option 3
For Kitchen with Stone Bench Tops and Tiled Splashback

Day 1

  • Remove and Dispose of existing Kitchen
  • Repair any wall damage from splashback removal
  • Prepare new plumbing for Sink Mixer, Waste, Dishwasher, Water filters and Water to Fridge.
  • Pre-wire for Oven, Cook Top, Rangehood, power points (Microwave, Toaster, Kettle etc).

Day 2

  • Install new Kitchen Cabinets

Day 3

  • Template for Stone Tops

Day 4

  • Plaster to fit cornice if required.

Day 5

  • Install Stone tops

Day 6

  • Plumber to connect Sink Mixer, Waste, Dishwasher, Water filters and Water to Fridge.
  • Electrician to connect Oven, Cook Top, Rangehood.

Day 7

  • Tiler to tile splashback

Option 4
For Kitchen with Stone Bench Tops and Glass Splashback

Day 1

  • Remove and Dispose of existing Kitchen
  • Repair any wall damage from splashback removal
  • Prepare new plumbing for Sink Mixer, Waste, Dishwasher, Water filters and Water to Fridge.
  • Pre-wire for Oven, Cook Top, Rangehood, power points (Microwave, Toaster, Kettle etc).

Day 2

  • Install new Kitchen Cabinets

Day 3

  • Template for Stone Tops

Day 4

  • Plaster to fit cornice if required.

Day 5

  • Install Stone tops

Day 6

  • Plumber to connect sink mixer, waste, dishwasher, water filters and water to fridge.
  • Electrician to connect oven, cook top, rangehood.
  • Template for glass splashback

Day 7

  • Install glass splashback

Please Note:

  • As there are extra manufacturing processes involved in providing Stone Bench Tops and Glass Splashbacks there is a delay of 5-10 working days between templates and installation.
